Depending on your personal situation, you will pay a statutory tuition fee or an institutional tuition fee. Which fee you will pay depends on a number of factors, including your nationality, whether you have a residence permit and whether you have previously obtained a degree. There are also a number of exceptions.

The statutory tuition fee for 2024–2025 is €2,530. This fee applies when you enrol in a bachelor's programme (full time) from September 2024 (the start of the academic year).

The second-year teacher-training programme students qualify for a 50% discount on their tuition fee. Tuition fees halved for first year of higher education | Secondary vocational education (MBO) and tertiary (higher) education | Government.nl.

Please note: the 50% discount on the statutory tuition fee no longer applies as from the 2024–2025 academic year.
