Audrey Helwes is a student at the Master of Education in Arts at the Hanze University of Applied Sciences in Groningen, she participated in three of the four intensive weeks of the PIMDI-project. She is a performance artist who focuses on making connections between verbal and non-verbal communication and works as a teacher at the Amsterdam University of the Arts. In her research she explores how physical touch can play a meaningful and non-threatening role in the communication between students and (dance) teachers.
