On 4 April 2024 Egbert Dommerholt, professor Biobased Business Valorization, will be saying goodbye to the Hanze University of Applied Sciences.

Below, Egbert has given some more information about his final lecture. 

Having enjoyed working in education for more than 35 years, including almost 12 years as a lecturer at the International Business School and four years as a professor in Circular Economy at Hanze University Groningen, it is time to retire.

That's why I'll be saying goodbye in style with a closing lecture on Thursday 4 April from 16.00 to 17.00 uur in the Energy Barn on the Zernikelaan on the Zernike Campus. The lecture, titled  ‘Towards an Ethics of Care in (Business) Education', presents a personal, new and inspiring vision of education at universities of applied sciences and business schools.

After the lecture, drinks and snacks will be served. There will be an opportunity to have a chat and shake Egbert's hand. 

For those who cannot attend in person: the lecture will also be livestreamed. The link for the livestream will be shared before the event.
