Co-writeweek

10 years ago, in 2014, the Academy of Pop Culture started a small-scale Co-write Week together with TAMK, a producer education programme from Finland. In 2018, Belgium's PXL Hasselt University joined in. Since then, the Co-write weeks have grown and all three schools have an annual Co-write Week.

Each year, 9 students from each country come together to work on music in three one-week sessions. Throughout the week, students are given different assignments in groups of three where they make music and switch groups all the time. At the end of the week, the students choose a number of songs to pitch to professionals in the music industry.
