On November 22, 2023 the exhibition The Art of Caring will open. This special exhibition features a variety of works created by three students from Minerva Art Academy, capturing the research of three PhD students from the Healthy Ageing, Allied Healthcare & Nursing research group.

The connection between healthcare and art
Healthcare is a crucial aspect of our lives, and art is a powerful tool for sharing emotions and stories. This exhibition is a tribute to the tireless efforts of caregivers and those who need care. Created by students from Minerva Art Academy, exhibited at the location where students from the Academy of Health Studies and the Academy of Nursing are preparing for a future in healthcare.

The coming together of a triple anniversary
Not only does Hanze UAS turn 225 this year, we are also celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Wiebenga National Monument. This historic building symbolises healthcare education in our city and is occupied by the School of Health Care Studies and the School of Nursing. As the oldest school of Hanze University of Applied Sciences, Minerva Art Academy has kept the flame of creativity alive for 225 years. Together we celebrate these milestones with an exhibition that unites the power of art and care.
