The participating students
will gain more experience in the field of international business. Foreign markets, strategic choices, ntercultural aspects and export are examples of themes that play a role in this semester.

About this minor

The business community exports billions of euros annually and offers companies all kinds of opportunities to find new markets and achieve more turnover. This semester focuses on the Exportise Talent Programme and is intended for both entrepreneurs in the exploratory phase and entrepreneurs who are considering new markets. Knowledge of new markets and finding answers to international issues are on the programme. Finally, the study trip to New York, where a research assignment must be carried out in groups, completes this semester.

Learning outcomes

As a future HBO Business Administration professional, you will work on the competences below during the entire course;

  • Business conduct
  • Research skills
  • Showing an innovative and entrepreneurial attitude
  • Connecting
  • Showing personal leadership

Professional actions have been drawn up for the above competences for each professional product. These can be found on blackboard.

COL – Community of Learners

To work on the above competences, the three-year Business Administration programme has created a place where curious students, inspiring lecturer-researchers and involved professional field partners can find and strengthen each other. You work in groups of 5-6 fellow students in a 'Community of Learners' (COL). In this COL we learn with and from each other. Giving and receiving feedback plays an important role in this. Within a current business context, students work on final projects (practical professional products) with increasing complexity. The COL can be used to:

  • to deepen knowledge by discussing it with each other
  • exchange experiences during the meetings
  • providing feedback to each other on professional products and reflecting on this
