3. Start application

We will start your immigration procedure when:

  • All your uploaded documents for immigration are correct.
  • We have received your financial guarantee.
  • When you have received a letter of acceptance from the student administration.

You will receive a confirmation email after we have sent your application to the IND (Immigration and Naturalisation Service).

We will buy AON complete + student insurance for you when we have sent your documents to the IND. A copy of your insurance certificate will be sent to you by AON.

4. Decision IND

The IND will let us know their decision within 4 weeks. The moment we receive the decision letter, we will send you a copy.

5. Biometric data

The IND needs your biometric data (your photo, signature and fingerprints) to create your residence permit card. As soon as you know your arrival date in the Netherlands, you can book an appointment to have your biometric data taken at one of the IND desks in the Netherlands.

It will take approximately three weeks before your card is ready. We will let you know by email when and where to pick it up.
