To reset your password yourself,  your private email address and mobile phone number must be registered in Studielink. If you have not yet registered it there, do so and try again after 1 hour.

You can request a new password via hanze.nl/requestpassword.  Requests are handled on average within 1-2 working days.

Hanze University of Applied Sciences applies the following requirements for a strong password. The password is at least 16 characters long and contains characters from at least three of the following categories:

1. Capital letters (A-Z)
2. Lowercase letters (a-z)
3. Numbers (0-9)
4. Special characters (for example: !, $, #, or %)

In addition, the password:

1. does not contain any part of your first name, last name or username;
2. is not exactly the same as an old password.
3. does not equal an obvious password (for example, Hanze01 or Password01) or a leaked password and will be checked for this.

Tip: Come up with a password phrase. A sentence is often easier to remember.
