Dr Joàn Teerling is professor in Sustainable Fuels and Gases at Entrance - Centre of Expertise Energy (Hanze). He conducts research on the production, storage and use of sustainable fuels and gases.
Joan Teerling has many years of experience in the field of gas combustion and hydrogen projects. Within the professorship, he is working on sustainable, green molecules, together with other researchers. How can these molecules be produced, stored, transported and reused? How can fuels and gases such as hydrogen and biogas contribute to a sustainable society?

The professorship Sustainable Fuels and Gases focuses, among other things, on extracting green fuels from waste streams. In addition, research into sustainable fuels for shipping, aviation and heavy industry is conducted, in order to respond to the needs of regional companies to innovate and become more sustainable.
