Regional transport strikes

Strikes have been announced on regional transport for the coming period. There will be a strike one day each week until Christmas. The next strike day is this coming Thursday, 22 October.

The exact impact is difficult to predict and may vary from region to region. You should therefore keep a close eye on the transport operators’ journey planners over the coming weeks and allow for extra travel time.

Teaching and other activities at Hanze will continue as normal. This also applies to exams. Where possible, try to arrange alternative transport. If you are unable to get to Hanze due to the strike, please discuss with your manager whether you can work from home. Students can contact their degree programme if they are unable to get to Hanze due to the strike.
