Fardo coordinates a new subdomain within the research line on art and care within the Research Groups Music in Context and Image in Context of the Research Centre Art & Society,

Fardo has an academic background in religious studies, with a specialisation in the enduring influence of religious cultural heritage in contemporary society. She brings an anthropological perspective and approach, with a strong affinity for narrative research, behaviour and ritual. 

Within the Research Groups Music in Context and Image in Context of the Research Centre Art & Society, Fardo coordinates a new subdomain within the research line on art and care. She is also affiliated as a researcher with the learning community of the Prince Claus Conservatoire and Westerbork Memorial, as well as with the collaboration between Minerva Art Academy and the Van Mesdag Clinic.
