Exploring Hanze over the holidays

Another eventful year is over. The Holiday season is always a good time to reflect on the past year... but also to look forward. Are you interested in possibly studying at Hanze UAS next year? Then the holiday season is a good time to do a deep dive into all the information available to make sure you can make a well-considered study choice.

Not sure where to start? Don't worry, we've got you covered. Below, we've listed 5 ways to explore our university over the holidays.

1. Research, research, research!

There's a wealth of information to be found on the Hanze UAS website, so get a cup of hot choco, a nice blanket, grab your laptop and start researching your favourite programmes. You can start by checking their webpage for all detailed information, or by ordering a brochure.

2. Register for our upcoming online events

Though most Hanze UAS departments will be closed until 9 January 2024, that doesn't mean that we haven't already planned a lot of great activities in the new year! You can check them out here.

3. Chat with a student

Naturally, our students are also enjoying a well-deserved holiday after this crazy year. Nevertheless, they remain available to help you exploring our (bachelor's) programmes. You can still ask them any course-related question you may have, directly through Whatsapp or Discord. Also during the holidays! Find their contact details here.

4. Enjoy a virtual campus tour

Naturally, next to discovering our programmes, you also want to see where you're going to study. That's why we've asked our current international students to show you around our buildings and facilities! Join them for a virtual campus tour!

5. Become a virtual citizen of Groningen

Kick-start your student life by exploring Groningen virtually! In the Become a virtual Groninger game, you can already experience what it is like to be a student in Groningen. Discover the streets of the city centre, see how students in Groningen live, explore the Zernike campus and enjoy Groningen's vibrant nightlife. You will even learn some typical Groningen words, recipes and facts on the way. Before you know it you'll feel right at home and you might find yourself showing Groningers around in their own city.

From all of us at Hanze UAS: enjoy the holidays, and stay healthy!
