Jan-Jaap Aue

Jan Jaap Aué is professor of Hydrogen Applications within the professorship Energy Transition. He is also director of Entrance - Centre of Expertise Energy.

Hydrogen is going to play an important role in our energy system. This will require technological, economic and social innovation. Cost price reduction, system integration and creating market opportunities are topics Jan-Jaap is working on as a professor. He focuses on applications of hydrogen within a sustainable energy system. Green, sustainably produced hydrogen can play an important role in storing and making clean energy available. This can then be used for industry, mobility and for heat demand in the built environment.
