LEDs Grow Plants

The LEDs Grow Plants facility is a state-of-the-art facility that uses LED lighting to study plants. Students, researchers and companies can utilise these innovative technologies, including a MiniPAMII (for measuring photosynthesis), nutrient sensors and a spectrometer.

With dynamic LED lighting, researchers can test variations in light colour, intensity, and duration. Students can learn about agrobiotechnology through practical sessions, and companies can experiment with innovative ideas for their plants or (food) products. This makes the facility the perfect place for practical research.
