What does it take to build and maintain meaningful music activities in unpredictable settings and time frames?
Music in AZCs: Dialogue & Exchange is an open afternoon bringing together students, staff, music facilitators and organisations working with music in AZCs and other social contexts. The programme is part of the ongoing research project Making Music (Happen) in AZCs.
The afternoon will begin with a participatory music workshop, followed by an open discussion exploring trust-building, sustainability and care in social music practices. The programme will close with informal networking.
The event offers PCC and Minerva students and staff an opportunity to meet practitioners and organisations working in this field and to exchange experiences and perspectives.
