Do you want to make devices, machines and buildings smarter using sensors? Sensors & Smart Systems is one of three majors within the Electrical and Electronic Engineering programme. You learn to design and programme smart systems that bring sensors, data and electronics together.

Sensors & Smart Systems is all about sensors and smart systems that can detect and respond to their surroundings. You explore sensor technology, sensor data and wireless communication. You learn how to make devices, machines and buildings smarter by connecting sensors, data and electronics.

You also explore programming, robotics, control systems and data communication. With this knowledge, you design and programme smart systems for a range of applications.

Throughout the programme, you put what you learn directly into practice. You work on challenging, hands-on projects for companies and other real-world clients. This gives you valuable professional experience during your studies while working on smart solutions to real-world challenges.
