Advanced International Business Skills
- Subject or theme
Throughout the International Business programme, you will develop advanced international business skills that complement the solid knowledge base and project experience. These skills include research, intercultural competence, professional development, and business communication.
In the course Data-Informed Decisions (DID) you will build skills to think critically, ask the right questions, and use data to guide decisions in an international business setting. You’ll get hands-on experience with Excel, learning how to collect, analyze, and visualize data in ways that make sense. These practical skills will help you turn numbers into insights that support strong business strategies. By working on real-world projects, you’ll discover how to transform data into solutions that businesses can use to succeed.
Additionally, you will receive training in order to get ready for your upcoming year abroad, i.e. get ready to take the next step in your professional career. Intercultural competence and career development are key in this phase. You will learn how to recognise and understand your own (cultural) background and how this has influenced your perception of the world.
For the course Intercultural Competence we offer an online taster session. Would you like to learn about the content of this course? Then go to the Online Study Taster page.
