The first year introduces you to the fundamental areas of business: Marketing, Finance & Accounting, Supply Chain Management and Human Resource Management. Additionally, you will learn about Economics and Law.

You’ll gain the essential knowledge and skills to understand how businesses work. For example, you will learn how to:

  • Create financial statements and analyze a company’s performance
  • Explain Human Resource Management (HRM) strategies
  • Understand marketing and the steps in the marketing process
  • Discover how Logistics Customer Service supports goal setting, decision-making, and performance

You’ll also explore other key areas:

  • Law – Learn about the international legal and political context that shapes business decisions
  • Economics – Understand important concepts like inflation, interest rates, and exchange rates
