Supported Education
- Theme
One of the key focus areas of the professorship Rehabilitation is student wellbeing. An increasing number of young people experience psychological, cognitive and/or psychosocial difficulties, which can make it harder for them to follow their education. Some of these students even drop out of their studies prematurely, which in turn reduces their opportunities in the labour market. These young people need additional support with learning and studying.
Supported Education focuses on guiding young people with the above-mentioned challenges in choosing, accessing and maintaining a mainstream education. The aim of Supported Education is to develop products and services, and to provide information to students, their networks and professionals in health and education, about studying with psychological, cognitive or psychosocial difficulties.
We work together with national and international partners, a multidisciplinary team of Hanze lecturers-researchers, and (experts by experience) students. Here you will find the products we have developed, such as brochures, methodologies and publications.
