For 25 years, Hanze UAS has been committed to improving education in developing countries to ensure that everyone has access to quality education. We do this by contributing to the self-reliance of higher education institutions in developing countries. These activities are coordinated within Hanze UAS by the Hanze Centre for Development Cooperation (HCDC), a small expertise agency in the field of development cooperation.
The Hanze Centre for Development Cooperation consists of three different components: Hanze Capacity building, Hanze University Foundation and the Hanze East Africa Hub.
Hanze University Foundation
Independent foundation of the Hanze UAS. Finances projects based on donations.
Hanze Capacity Building
Curriculum improvement projects funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Hanze East Africa Hub
Concerns student projects from Hanze UAS with (Dutch) companies in Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda
