For his Graduation Project (GPJ), Dilan worked on a real-life market entry project for a German company, which was of great help in starting his own business. ‘I really could use my GPJ as a handbook, as a guide to see how I actually start my own project.’ Dilan is now proud owner of a tutoring school for refugees, managing fifty freelancers, lecturers, as well as four employees and interns.

‘An important aspect I learned during my study was my year abroad, where I really collected the cultural awareness, which I didn’t have before that much. And today I can really use this knowledge because I’m working with people from so many different countries. Due to my cultural awareness, I really understand the wants and needs of my clients.’

Hanze also helped Dilan after graduation, as he also had some IB students writing their graduation project for his company, finding new markets. ‘The contact with Hanze is very close. It can be very useful, especially when you start your own project.’
