3D printing, what can you do with it? As it turns out, a lot! Or at least, in theory, because at the moment we mainly see a lot of plastic products being 3D printed. In the future we expect to 3D print electronics, implants, and materials from glass and metal. This way, more products can be made with high accuracy and less energy and loss of material. To realise this, project 3D Print Kompas works to set up collaborations in the Northern Netherlands to connect the theory and practice of 3D printing.
