During the first year you will learn an additional foreign language. Students with a non-Dutch diploma will follow a compulsory Dutch Language & Culture course to enrich both your studies and daily life in the Netherlands. Students with a Dutch diploma can choose between Spanish, German, French, or Mandarin Chinese. Learning a second language will give you a head start when it comes to applying communication skills within your future career.
- All language classes start at level zero. After one semester of language classes, you will have reached level A1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
- At the end of each module, your reading, writing, listening and speaking skills will be assessed.
