IPD helps you to go abroad for your work placement or thesis
The International Placement Desk (IPD) is the central office for students at the School of Health Care Studies and the School of Nursing who wish to go abroad for their work placement or thesis.
Within these Schools, the IPD coordinates this for the following degree programmes:
- Health Care Management
- Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
- Dental Hygiene
- Nutrition and Dietetics
The IPD can provide information and support throughout all of these phases, from initial orientation to completing your foreign adventure. We provide information on the options that exist for going abroad. We provide support in finding a place to do a work placement or work towards a thesis. We keep track of who is abroad and where they are. And we also collect your experiences so other students can benefit from these.
The IPD provides information on orientation and preparation for and the execution and conclusion of a work placement or thesis done abroad. We make every effort to do this as well as possible. However, this does still mean that students themselves will always remain responsible for all actions related to doing a work placement or thesis abroad.
