Sustainable fuels will be part of the future energy mix. They can be produced from biomass. How this can be done effectively, efficiently, and environmentally friendly, is topic of research and development. A particular example of a sustainable fuel is green hydrogen, produced from renewable electricity. The role of green hydrogen is expected to strongly increase in the (near) future.
