Jacomijn Hofstra is a social psychologist and Professor of Rehabilitation affiliated with the School of Social Studies. Her aims is to help people with complex problems take part in society.
Jacomijn Hofstra focuses on the social functioning of people with participation difficulties due to, for example, psychological and/or physical problems, traumatic brain injury, learning disabilities, or homelessness.
She is also the theme leader of the theme Equal Opportunities & Participation, one of the strategic themes of the Centre of Expertise Healthy Ageing.
The key focus areas of the professorship are Guided Learning and Experiential Expertise in healthcare and social work. The professorship is active in the health, education and social domains.
