Did you know that, although there are no official figures, the average person is estimated to encounter between 6,000 to 10,000 ads every single day? This course is about recognising cultural differences in TV ads. TV ads are the mirror of the culture where they are broadcast. They are full of rituals, symbols, heroes, values, prejudices, clichés, stereotypes and many other cultural expressions that can help you to understand our world. The aim of this course to explain why a promotion strategy works well in one country but less in another one.
