  • Your mission

    During the Hackathon, you will be given a broken system to diagnose and propose a solution. You will work with real engineers to analyse clues, data, and graphics to uncover the root cause of the problem. At the event, you will apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a dynamic and digital environment.

The Hanze x HARD Hackathon is your chance to step into the world of Formula Student racing and collaborate with the Hanze Racing Division - a dynamic team of international students designing and building an electric race car from scratch. During the hackathon, you’ll get exclusive access to the team, uncover the challenges of high-performance engineering, and dive into the fast-paced problem-solving that keeps us ahead of the competition.

    Alongside our Racing Division team, you will tackle critical issues of building a race car: you will troubleshoot performance issues, ensure reliable braking performance, transition to a renewable powertrain and more. Whether you don’t have engineering knowledge yet, or you are passionate about the subject, or you are a Bachelor graduate, you will find a challenge that fits your curiosity and boosts your skills!
