During the Hackathon, you will be given a broken system to diagnose and propose a solution. You will work with real engineers to analyse clues, data, and graphics to uncover the root cause of the problem. At the event, you will apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a dynamic and digital environment.

The Hanze x HARD Hackathon is your chance to step into the world of Formula Student racing and collaborate with the Hanze Racing Division—a dynamic team of international students designing and building an electric race car from scratch. On April 12, you’ll get exclusive access to the team, uncover the challenges of high-performance engineering, and dive into the fast-paced problem-solving that keeps us ahead of the competition.

Alongside our Racing Division team, you will tackle critical issues of building a race car: you will troubleshoot performance issues, ensure reliable braking performance, transition to a renewable powertrain and more. Whether you don’t have engineering knowledge yet, or you are passionate about the subject, or you are a Bachelor graduate, you will find a challenge that fits your curiosity and boosts your skills!
