​Prospective students with a high school diploma equal to the Dutch VWO diploma can be admitted. Please note that all international diploma's will be send to the Nuffic for accreditation according to the Dutch VWO level. When your diploma doesn't match the criteria, you will not  be accepted in this study. An assessment is part of the selection procedure and has to be sufficient in order to be accepted. Students who already finished their propaedeutic phase are admissable after acceptance by the admission committee. Note that German applicants need to have the following diploma:  Zeugnis der Allgemeinen Hochschulreife.

The degree awarded at the end of the three-year programme is equal to the four year programme Sport Studies and students are awarded a bachelor's diploma in Sport Studies.


 

How to apply

The next option to start the study is September 2021. 

Students need to apply online at Studielink for the Sport Studies programme before May 1st 2021. The application procedure differs depending on the country you originate from.

For students from the BeNeLux-countries/Germany:

After applying for the programme, you will be invited for a Matching Day. Attending this Matching Day is obligatory and it is organised in order to assess whether the ambitions, skills and expectations of the student match the content of the programme. The Matching Day consists of a physical challenge, a case study and presentation. The result of the Matching Day has to be sufficient in order to be accepted in the program.

For other students:

After applying for the programma, you need to hand in a Matching Assignment. This assignment consist of a recording showing you in a sports-related group setting and will also include a personal presentation. Furthermore you need to have a reference and will have to write a case study. The result of the Matching Assignment has to be sufficient in order to be accepted in the program.

For all students: 

Students admitted to the Sport Studies programme will need to undergo a medical sports test​ in order to assess their physical fitness. For more information, please check the entry requirements page.
